Episcopal church in the Champaign-Urbana area of Illinois

The Chapel of Saint John the Divine is a parish of the Episcopal Church, ministering to the community of Champaign-Urbana and the Episcopal campus ministry to the University of Illinois. As a constituent part of the Anglican Communion, we are also church home for international students and scholars.

We are a welcoming, lively, and diverse congregation offering mindful ways to worship, learn and serve. We invite you to join us as we seek to worship and follow Christ. ALL are ALWAYS INVITED and WELCOMED!

Chapel choirmaster and organist, Linda Buzard, will be giving an organ recital at the Chapel on Sunday, November 8 at 4:00 p.m. She will be playing the Passacaglia and Fugue in C Minor by J. S. We are happy to kick off our 105th year as a college chaplaincy of The Episcopal Church. For over 100 years, we have served the students, faculty, and wider Champaign-Urbana community. Students and the wider university community gather on Wednesdays at 5:15 p.m. for worship, a free home cooked meal and lively conversation and friendship. We also invite you to participate in our weekly Sunday services at 8 am and 10 am.
