Getting to the Chapel

Getting to the Chapel can be a bit of a challenge. Near the heart of campus, the one-way streets can be very frustrating. But, never fear! With the right directions, getting to the Chapel is easy. And we think it's worth the effort!

Parking

On the weekend: Parking is pretty easy to find on the weekend, especially on Sunday. St. John's has a small lot just north of Canterbury House, the second building on the left on Wright Street. There is parking on Armory and Wright Streets.  Additional parking is available across Armory, in the Library parking lot (the  entrance to the lot is on Sixth Street). On Saturday's the meters in the library lot are active. On Sunday, they are not. A number of meters are crrently bagged.  Never fear--it's OK to park in them on Sunday.  There is also a University lot off Sixth Street (with entrance on Chalmers) available on Sundays

During the week: Parking is very limited during the week. Two spots are reserved for guests in the St. John's parking lot, but those spots are often taken. Don't be deterred from stopping by to visit.  There's usually a space in the lot somewhere.  Tell the Secretary where you are and she'll work things out for you!

Parking in the library lot is an option, although it is often full during the day. All meters are active during the week except after 9 pm.
